# What is the Minehaul System?
The "Minehaul" system is a contract-technology that aims at enabling SSU-aided operations.
This system equips a network of strategically positioned SSUs with logic to control the circulation of resources through our logistic space.
Behind the scene, this platform will be powered by a set of MUD contracts interfacing with the Inventory module of the deployed SSUs.
The name of the system is a concatenation of the verb-form of the two actions this platform is meant to support and organize operations around, to mine and to haul.

# What you should Know?
While our first application of the system seems to be concerned with mining and hauling, two fundamental operations to any form of building, we expect this system to extend its usage to other spaces like military
Different situation change the needed the distribution of resources.
When you think about it, the logistic space of our collection is made out of the distribution of all the resources available to each member.
Now, this distribution can be actionable in the sense that given an arising situation we can move this resources around to where they are mostly needed and can craft resources that are needed
In other situations it is very hard to do anything given the current logistic distribution.

# What is the Vision?
This system is a smart implementation of the second moment of the, search, collect and refine cycle.
In a sense, this platform intends to be a state-of-the-art advanced collection-distribution system leveraging smart assembly hardware.
This system is a substrate on top of which various operational protocols will emerge to, (1) conduct situated management of the logistic landscape[^1] and (2) mitigate and deal with various level of exposure during resource collection and distributions.

# Case Studies
## Use Case #1: Industry Production
### What is the need?
Building a number items or ships in a given station.
### What is the requirement?
There needs to be a minimal SSU infrastructure to make the operation viable. All of the used SSUs must be integrated in the system and must offer the Minehaul DApp as an interaction interface.
### What is the flow?
An operation commander will initiated an op with a set of ore goals and the field depots where they should be satisfied.
The operatives will initiate their mining session attached to the op in question and start mining and depositing ore at each round.
The operatives can request fuel and mining lenses if they are low on them. The operative must have an ongoing mining session before requesting anything. The request is validated by the op commander after which they can retrieve their consumables.
The operation will continue until all of the goals are met in which case the op commander will initiate hauling rounds by granting trusted haulers ability to withdraw ore and move it to station depots.
The ore deposits and withdrawals are logged.
